The previously available Soncamedia firmware/software updates originally referenced in this article have now been withdrawn and are no longer available for download.
Soncamedia has advised that, following recent changes to YouTube's policies regarding how YouTube content can be accessed through third-party applications, the Soncamedia/ACNOS Karaoke application can no longer provide integrated access to YouTube.
As a result of these policy changes, Soncamedia has discontinued the affected application and withdrawn the associated firmware/software updates.
Can I still use YouTube for Karaoke?
Yes. YouTube itself has not been removed from these systems. You can continue to access YouTube karaoke songs using the standalone YouTube app on compatible models.
The change specifically affects access to YouTube from within the Soncamedia/ACNOS Karaoke application, following changes to YouTube's policies for third-party applications.
