From CB to TOP
The previous KBEATBOX CB Series proved that an all-in-one karaoke system could deliver the sort of sound normally associated with a much more complicated home karaoke setup.
The new TOP Series takes that concept further.
Both the TOP 430 and TOP 530 deliver 300 Watts RMS, providing considerably more power than the models they replace.
But power is only part of the story.
The cabinets are physically bigger and heavier, the controls have been repositioned, Smart TV connectivity has taken another step forward, USB-C OTG has been introduced and Soncamedia's app-based digital audio control has now made its way into these large-format systems.
These are substantial karaoke systems built to perform.
Finally – The Controls Are at the Front
One of the most practical changes to the new TOP Series is immediately obvious when you stand in front of one.
The mixer controls have moved to the front.
On the previous CB Series, the main controls were positioned on the side of the cabinet. It worked, but making adjustments could mean moving around the speaker or getting down beside the unit to see exactly what you were changing.
The TOP Series changes that.
The controls are now conveniently positioned on the front of the system, making your everyday music and microphone adjustments considerably easier to access.
You're standing in front of your karaoke system, so that's where the controls should be.
It's a relatively simple design change, but in real-world use we think it makes a considerable difference.
KBEATBOX TOP 430 – 300W RMS 3-Way Karaoke
The KBEATBOX TOP 430 is the new entry point into KBEATBOX's TOP Series.
And "entry point" certainly doesn't mean small.
The TOP 430 features a substantial 3-way speaker configuration consisting of:

With dedicated woofer, midrange and high-frequency drivers, the 3-way design allows different parts of the audio spectrum to be handled by dedicated speakers, helping deliver clean and detailed reproduction across the frequency range.
For karaoke, that separation is particularly important. You want powerful music, but you also want vocals that remain clear and present rather than disappearing into the mix.
At approximately 450mm wide × 840mm high × 440mm deep and 37.8kg, the TOP 430 is a substantial piece of equipment.
Fortunately, the wooden cabinet is fitted with wheels, allowing it to be moved into position when required.
KBEATBOX TOP 530 – When You Want to Go Bigger
Then there's the KBEATBOX TOP 530.
This is the big one.
While the TOP 430 uses a 3-way speaker configuration, the TOP 530 takes a different approach with a substantial 2-way speaker system built around an enormous 18-inch (50cm) woofer, combined with a dedicated high-frequency driver and 300 Watts RMS output.
That distinction is important.
The TOP 530 isn't simply a TOP 430 with a larger woofer. The two models use different speaker configurations, giving customers a genuine choice within the TOP Series.
Where the TOP 430 uses separate woofer, midrange and tweeter drivers in its 3-way design, the TOP 530 combines its huge 18-inch woofer with a dedicated high-frequency driver in a 2-way configuration.
The larger cabinet measures approximately 525mm wide × 955mm high × 520mm deep and weighs approximately 50kg.
In other words, the TOP 530 isn't pretending to be a portable Bluetooth speaker.
This is a serious large-format entertainment system on wheels, designed for customers looking for big sound and a commanding karaoke system for larger entertaining spaces and parties.
More Than Just Power
Of course, there's considerably more to the TOP Series than bigger speakers and more watts.
Both models incorporate Soncamedia's latest digital karaoke processing technology, including DSP processing and a 24-bit DAC for music and vocal reproduction.
The systems provide adjustable Echo and Reverb effects for your vocals, allowing you to tailor your karaoke sound to suit your voice, music and environment.
The TOP Series also includes Soncamedia's FBC anti-feedback technology, helping reduce microphone feedback while maintaining the light and responsive microphone performance KBEATBOX systems are known for.
But the digital processing inside these systems can now be taken even further.
SONCA Mixer App – Fine-Tune Your Sound from Your Phone
Another major upgrade for the new TOP Series is the introduction of SONCA Mixer app control to KBEATBOX's large-format karaoke systems.
Previously found on selected newer compact KBEATBOX models and the Soncamedia Mi-36, this technology now makes its way into the big-box TOP Series.
The TOP 430 and TOP 530 feature a digital audio processor with integrated SONCA Mixer app support, allowing you to connect a compatible smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth and access more detailed sound adjustments directly from the app.
This allows you to fine-tune parameters including music, microphone and vocal effects such as Reverb, helping you tailor the sound to your room, your music and the way you like to sing.
The physical controls are still conveniently positioned on the front of the TOP Series for quick everyday adjustments, but the SONCA Mixer app gives you another level of control when you want to go deeper.
It's particularly useful because every room is different.
A large open entertaining area can require very different sound settings from a smaller lounge room, and your preferred settings for listening to music may also be different from those you use for karaoke.
The SONCA Mixer app is available for compatible Android and iOS devices through Google Play and the Apple App Store.
For the TOP Series, this represents another significant step forward: big-box KBEATBOX sound, now with the digital control and customisation previously found on selected newer KBEATBOX and Soncamedia products.
Now with HDMI ARC – Made for Today's Smart TVs
The previous KBEATBOX CB Series already provided Optical Input, making it easy to connect compatible televisions directly to your karaoke system.
The new TOP Series keeps Optical Input but adds something important for the first time in this large-format KBEATBOX range:
HDMI ARC.
HDMI ARC provides an even more convenient way to integrate the TOP 430 or TOP 530 with a modern Smart TV.
Connect the HDMI ARC connection from a compatible television directly to the TOP Series and the television can send its audio through the KBEATBOX system.
This makes it ideal for today's Smart TVs, where your karaoke entertainment may already be coming from apps and content running directly on the television.
Rather than treating the karaoke system as something separate from your home entertainment setup, HDMI ARC allows the TOP Series to become part of it.
And if your television uses Optical instead?
That's still there too.
It's another example of how the TOP Series has evolved beyond the previous generation — retaining the connectivity that worked while adding the connections expected from a modern entertainment system.
USB-C OTG – Digital Audio for Recording & Livestreaming
Another first for this large-format KBEATBOX series is USB-C OTG connectivity.
So what does that actually mean?
USB-C OTG allows the TOP 430 and TOP 530 to make a compatible digital audio connection with devices such as smartphones, tablets and computers.
Instead of simply playing music into your KBEATBOX through Bluetooth, OTG opens up the possibility of sending the mixed karaoke audio — including your music and microphone performance — digitally to a compatible connected device.
That makes USB-C OTG particularly useful for applications such as recording your performance, creating karaoke videos or livestreaming using compatible devices and apps.
For the customer who simply wants to turn on the TV and sing, you may never need it.
But for today's content creators, livestreamers and karaoke singers who want to capture and share their performances, it's an important addition.

So choosing between them isn't simply a matter of comparing 15 inches with 18 inches.
