The Sonken Midi M-688 (Silver/Compact) and MD-388 (Black/Full Size) DVD+MIDI/DVD/CD+G/VCD/CD/MP-3 Karaoke Machine is your ultimate choice if you are interested in foreign language Karaoke songs, as this machine comes complete with two microphone inputs, two free DVD+Midi Discs which features over 50,000 songs on two discs, includes 3 hard cover coffee table song books. Both players are essentially the same except for the obvious size and colour. The M-688 Model can play CD+G discs but the internal microphone sockets don't function when playing this format, but if you are using external amplifier with microphone inputs then you over come this, the MD-388 doesn't have this issue. The M-688 (Silver Only) is 32cm Wide x 28cm Deep x 4.5cm High and the MD-388 (Black Only) is 43cm Wide x 25.5cm Deep and 5.5cm High. With the two free DVD+Midi Song Discs you can also entertain your singing guests by having singing competitions, by scoring your performances. You also have full 12 Step Key and Tempo Control and you can also reserve 99 songs in advance and save your favorite play lists with upto 540 songs. Chinese Songs have Pinyin feature (English) lyrics on screen along with chinese characters.
